A Simple Girl With Big Dreams

People always say “time heals all wounds” and I agree but sometimes in other cases, time itself is the wound. It’s because of time that someone is hurting so much. It’s that someone who invests so much time and energy into a person you want or wanted to be with. That someone puts in all of themselves for that one person and all the time spent and wasted is what hurts. Time is what makes one hurt in the first place. No one will give up on someone they’ve spent days, weeks maybe even a year on because the time they’ve given would be all for nothing. It’s difficult. Cut some slack when it takes someone a little longer to process what’s going on in their lives to recover.

6 things to keep in mind:

1. Make peace with your past so that it would not screw up the present.

2.What other people think of you is NONE of your business.

3. TIME heals almost everything so give time and space.

4.No one is in charge of your HAPPINESS except YOU.

5. Don’t compare your life to others & don’t judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

6. SMILE. You don,t own all the PROBLEMS in the world.

May we all have a great year to come. Few days left and we are going to welcome the year 2012.

Live a Life That Matters
by Anonymous
Whether you are ready or not,
someday your life will come to an end.
There will be no more surprises,
no minutes, no hours nor days.
All the things you collected, whether treasured or
forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power
will shrivel to irrelevance.
It will not matter what you owned or what you owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and
jealousies will finally disappear.
So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-lists will expire.
The wins and loses that once seemed so
Important will fade away.
It won’t matter where you came from, or
on what side of the tracks you lived at the end.
It won’t matter whether you are beatiful or
Brilliant, even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.
So what will matter? How will the value
of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought,
but what you built; not what you got
but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success, but your significance.
What will matter is not you learned, but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage,
or sacrifice tgar enriched, empowered, or encouraged others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence,
but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew,
but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone.
What will matter is not your memories,
but the memories that live in those who love you.
What will matter is how long you will be
remembered, by whom. and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s not a matter of circumstances, but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.
